it does but a beta, AN ALPHA should be done by now. It feels like its been discontinued. Take Karlson For example. It's taking years (and counting) but a demo version came in like a month of development.
Is it going to be on browser? And if it is that would be great because multiplayer mode would be more lively and fun with players, and it would be more accessible!
I adore games with evolution/design on monsters, that affecting the gameplay & especially if it's a multiplayer-game instead of just battling some coded NPC's there.
